Biography:

Dr Mahmood Shubbak is researcher at the University of Bremen (Germany) and the founder and managing director of the non-profit digital platform Shubbakom (UK). His research interests are related to innovation systems and technology upgrading in the fields of renewable energy and autonomous robots. He obtained his PhD in Business Studies and Economics in 2018. He holds two Master degrees: in Automation Engineering and in Communication Technology Management. In September 2018, Dr Shubbak won Herbert-Simon Prize for the best research at the European Association for Political Economy conference in Nice (France).
